[Dx-qsl] QSLing Courtesy

Right On Mike,

You stated what I have been trying to put into words since
this 'thread' started. I also have & do send out hundreds of
Stateside QSL's via the, now 23 cent, route and the return
is Very Good. There of course many that do not reply, and
even some that have sent me letters explaining that they 'are
too busy and working to much DX to reply to stateside
QSL's [unless a SASE, or a GS!!!! is sent for a reply]. I
guess the 'Old School Statement - a QSL is the final
curtesy of a QSO - no longer applies. Believe me, in many
contests that I participate in, I have my ''post-a-notes'' of the
DO-NOT-WORK stations - especially those that send
me letters or emails that QSL's REQUIRE SASE/ETC.
There are a lot of people that have either forgot that this
is a HOBBY to enjoy - which I do and have been doing
since 1955. True LOTW has cut down on quite a number
of 'postacards' going out, but if I don't get them now through
LOTW, I at least try through the mail.
Have a great weekend Mike and see you on the bands!
73,
Joe W7LPF
