Hi Bernie,
Why not publish it on the web site AND continue the Yearbook ?
Our cost for the DXCC program keeps going up and we appear to be getting
less all the time for our money. I feel the computer up-to-date list is a
NO COST feature to the ARRL once started. First they took it out of QST for
the Yearbook, now they are going to take away the Yearbook. Just where is
our DXCC submission money going ? I would have liked to see a survey done
of DXCC membership before implementing the new program. If saving more and more
money is always the criteria, where is the money going that has been increasing for us
to be in the DXCC program ? Does it stay with the DXCC program or are we
supplementing the ARRL and their other expenses?
I say if they are going to cut the Yearbook, put the annual listings back in QST !

The results will be published on the ARRL DXCC Web site. This will do
several things. Expose your callsign to even more people (non subscribers).
It will be updated weekly and hopefully even daily. It will be easy to
search and find your callsign and your friends and competitors. I also
understand that they are planning to have indexing on call, band, countries,
etc. just like the Contest results. It would also no doubt save money.
Over all I would say the positives out way the negatives. Oh and one last
thought. The results will be more up-to-date, rather than 4-5 months old.
