KH7K, KURE ATOLL. It has been announced that the DXpedition to Kure Atoll
by the Pacific DX Group, which was planned for mid to late October, has
been postponed due to "transportation problems." The PDXG feels that the
next possible opportunity for an operation to Kure will be late winter or
early spring 2005. The PDXG asks that all groups or individuals who have
contributed towards this operation or are thinking of contributing, to
please continue to support their effort as they work to raise the necessary
funding. The regional fund raisers can be contacted at:
