Osten,
Let's just hope that the person(s) who have the answers simply aren't on
this reflector, or haven't checked their email for awhile.
But I'd strongly suspect, as happens in many SK cases, that the executors of
the estates, and others involved in basic house cleaning and such, simply
have no idea of the value of the documents... and as such, they often get
discarded.
I know the QSL Manager's Society now exists, which provides one outlet (for
those who know) to get old logs passed into the hands of others who know
what to do with them. But sadly, things happened prior to the QMS coming
into existance...
