Folks,

Effective immediately I am taking over all QSL business
for Nick VK1AA (ex.VK2ICV). This includes the following
callsigns VK9LX, H44XX, H40XX, VK9LX/9, VK1AA/2 and VK1AA/4.
Most likely Nick will 'award' to me his future
DXpeditions as well. Please update your QSL Info DBs.

At the moment I have VK9LX, H44XX, and H40XX blank QSL
cards, while VK9LX/9, VK1AA/2 and VK1AA/4 are still
in process of being printed.

While direct requests are more less all serviced, there
is a huge backlog of bureau requests. Nick was not member
of the VK QSL bureau and your cards have never made it
that way. From now on, I will handle bureau requests
but via Canadian (VE) QSL bureau.

Here are some strategies:

DIRECT REQUESTS: Should be no problem once I have all cards
printed. If in rush, you can request QSL for call signs for
which I have cards on hand, leaving others for later.
Multiple requests are OK, but keep in mind that Canada
Post accepts only 30 gr letters for basic international
rate.

SA(S)E and sufficient postage are required. Observe that
one US$ is not sufficient for international overseas
letter from Canada. Requests with no SA(S)E and/or
insufficient funds will be responded via the QSL bureau.

QSL BUREAU REQUESTS: More than welcome. Nick will become
RAC member, with 4 kg QSL cards free-of-charge allowance.
However you have to re-send your bureau requests via
VE QSL bureau. Please indicate via VE3EXY for all of
the above calls on each card you are sending. It will
take about 12-18 months to reach me, plus up to 6
months to receive response.

SHORT CUT: If frustrated with long QSL Bureau waiting
time you can make a short cut, and send me all your
requests directly without return postage, and I'll
respond via the QSL bureau.

As QSL Bureau manager I'll make sure your response
is sent to your QSL bureau on first opportune
time. Please visit my web site at:

http://www.magma.ca/~ve3exy/clients.html

and see if you have any requests for my other QSL
clients. Feel free to send all requests together.

eQSL: Nick has already submitted most of his logs to
eQSL. You can check if you are in the log
using eQSL, rather than asking me if you are
       in the log. Saves time.

LoTW: Nick has not yet made up his mind to submit his
      logs into this system.

e-mail Reqs: Not accepted.

Happy DXing
