[Dx-qsl] Postage Costs from New Zealand

 Hi All

 In my previous email I advised that due to the strong value of the New
Zealand Dollar all cards received directly with one green stamp or US $ will
be replied to via the bureau.

 Today I exchanged some US currency and the rate was 1 US$ = NZ$1.40.  This
is the worst it has been in our times of DXing and DXpeditioning.

 Our current ecconomy postal charges worldwide are NZ$1.50  so as you can
see there is a real difference.  Airmail is at NZ$2.00.

 As our Association does not have sufficient funds to meet the additional
postage costs,  cards with insufficient postage WILL be replied to via the
BUREAU.

 I am sorry for this but it is simply beyond our control and I hope you will
all appreciate our situation.
