Now that it's noted that the log search for BQ9P 2003 is up and running, let me remind/share with you what will help to get your QSL back more quickly
-if you notice a difference between your log and the log on line, NOTE IT IN WRITING and send with your QSL request. Please avoid sending me or the team members an email, it's much more orderly and efficient to deal with this in the process of checking the logs against QSL cards received.
-send to me ONLY your request for BQ9P 2003. If you add other years of BQ9P in, or other calls I manage, it will slow your return SUBSTANTIALLY. It amazes me how many folks will try to stuff as many calls in as they can for me, and then wonder why their return takes a long time. Rule of thumb, at least 2 months per call beyond the first one....just the facts of life. SOmetimes longer, sometimes sooner, depends on the call, how quickly i research that log, and a host of other items.
I'll post here when the cards start going out. I've got the log....I'll be able to predict mailing once the QSL card is put to bed..
If you care to donate to this operation, I will forward donations received with the QSL cards to the team. As a note of interest, the costs of this Dxpedition were budgeted at approximately US$8000, and this does not include the cost of the operators getting to Taiwan. The costs overran somewhat, due to the typhoon, and a need to juggle aircraft to get to the island. All but about $1200 of this amount was funded by the operating team.
Thanks es 73
