[Dx-qsl] QSL BURO CARDS

Just if you're interested.

I got a box of about 1,000 buro cards this week and there were about 100
from Serbia - some with comments such as third card - fourth card etc etc.

Some were for QSOs back as far as 1992.

I can only guess they have been held up somwhere.

It was also interesting to note that on cards from  HA0HW he had printed on
the label - printed and sent in July 2002---------so it seems by buro to
come from Hungary takes about 15 months.   It would be interesting to find
out how long the return journey takes.

My only reason for posting this it to demonstrate to recent additions to the
hobby that the buro can take for ages and so you must be patient.   If you
cannot wait for that important card then myadvice would be to go via a
direct route.
