for the interesting replies.  It's refreshing to note that 100 % of
those who responded do forward the cards  to the deserving.  Prior to
sending the email to DX-QSL ,  the 5 area folks were notified that they
would be receiving the cards from me.  This is about the 10th time i
have had occasion to QSP  cards  to others and it's all about "do unto
others",  as some of you mentioned. .

Charlie (W1TE), i understand what you are saying about the profits.  The
expression was a pun.  In 2001, 02 and 03 , i operated from Gitmo as
KG4IZ and made  approximately  10, 000 QSOs.  Most replies were/are  via
the buro.  The  total  out of pocket cost  was approximately $3,000.00
,   the best money that i have ever spent. I don't think $1.11 for the
postage for 3 cards  will present a real burden to my mad money  cache;
however , your offer to pick up this expense is appreciated !
