6O - REPUBLIC OF SOMALILAND Baldur/DJ6SI (in CW) and Franz/DJ9ZB (in SSB)
were
QRV as 6O0X and 6O1Z from the capital Hargeiza from May 10-17. Though this
republic
declared its independence from Somalia on May 18, 1991, has an own parliament
and government it
has not been acknowledged by other countries yet. The ARRL states that it
still misses an UN
membership, an own ITU prefix block or the IARU membership. More information
