And I'll place a lot of money on the fact that the folks discussing do not have it as a counter.  The argument on BS7H seems to be split between the haves and the have nots...the latter group seem hell bent to find a way to have it deleted.

It would be interesting to see this effort directed toward finding a way to reactivate Scarborough, rather than attempt to find ways to delete it.  I'm fairly familar with the efforts that were taken to 'identify' this country...and I'm quite sure the folks involved, many who I know personally, crossed all the t's and dotted all the i's....in determining that the reef met the DXCC rules in effect at that time.

I also suspect that the reefs are still above water....I've got a number of pictures which show height above water...and I've not read anything about the ocean being higher, certainly by that amount.
