I too have had great success with the 8th area incoming bureau and the D
manager does an outstanding job.

Sounds like Merv has done all the right things including checking the
'monthly' box. I send SASEs to the bureau and used to put several ounces of
postage on each envelope. However, that tends to stretch the interval
between mailings as the guys (gals?) try to get the most out of your postage
for you. Now I put 3oz worth of postage on so the cards don't accumulate for
so long. Typically get a stack of cards about 1/4 or 3/8 inch thick for my
3oz.

Friend of mine had a major problem with a letter manager a year or so ago -
the guy just wasn't fulfilling his obligations. Know it is pretty much a
thankless job but this guy did absolutely nothing. When the letter manager
got relieved of his duties, the friend received several POUNDS of cards over
a few weeks time! Hopefully this isn't Merv's case but it does happen.
