I suspect your friend worked 6W6/K3IPK, not 'IPX.  I worked Rich in the CQ
WW CW in November and I did get a card from him.

But he's not in MD:

 A friend, AC�T, worked this station (6W6/K3IPX) on CW, 22 Nov. 2002. Not
finding any QSL info he sent the usual to K3IPX. His envlope came back
marked FOE and some other numbers. K3IPX is OK in the call book in MD. Any
body have a QSL address/manager for this station?
