One hint to the 'stick the stamp on the envelope' then change your mind.....peel it off as soon as you can after putting it on the envelope. The glue appears to be time dependent...the longer it stays on...the harder it is to come off. If you do it in a day or so....you'll generally have much bbetter luck than if you wait a few weeks.
