[Dx-qsl] Old IRCs not valid in Italy?

Well, its not exactly like that...
I can still cash old IRC's in my local post-office
but the other day I got one of those fellows there
that told me and showed me the memorandum from
the "Universal Postal Union" saying that the old C22
IRC's were no longer acceptable.
He did not accepted the C22's I had, the new-ones
with expiration date were OK !
As this is a small-town the usual postal workers accept them,
I guess they don't bouder reading all incoming memorandum's
from the central H.Q. !
Anyway; personally I will keep replying cards with an SASE using
the old C22 IRC until I get a definite NO !
Nevertheless some EU countries and Australia are not accepting them at all!
