Let me send an information about contest .... I will be glad to find as many
of you as possible during the polish contest. yl Wanda SP7IWA.
70th anniversary SPDX Contest 2003 !!!
In 1933, the first Miedzynarodowe Zawody PZK (International PZK Contest)
took place between over 1000 participants from 45 countries plus 43 Polish
Stations. There were some more than 100 countries on the DXCC List in that
time. The contest's name changed in 1963 and has stayed the same ever since.
So this year we have very special Jubilee Contest. For the 2003 competition,
a special copy of the original 1933 diploma will be awarded to the winners
and each participant will receive a small copy of the original 1933 award.
The SPDX Club and PZK has the honour to invite the radio amateurs and SWLs
all over the world to participate in the SPDX Contest which is held on the
first full weekend of April every year. The object of the contest is to
establish as many contacts as possible between radio amateurs around the
world and radio amateurs in Poland.
Twice the number of diplomas will be awarded this year: there will be 1
diploma to be won for every 5 participants per category and country.
However, there will be no more than 10 diplomas available for each category
and country. All runners-up will also receive a smaller commemorative
diploma. We'd therefore like to invite all hams to take part.
SP DX Contest is fully supported by a contest log by LA0FX. It can be
downloaded from author's WWW site at: http://www.qsl.net/la0fx.
It is possible to apply for some Polish awards with no need to handle QSL
cards from Polish stations if contacts are made during the SP DX Contest
in 2002. Please check visit SP-DX Contest Page at
