Sorry to hear that. There are no other routes that I've ever seen for that 
call anywhere. Probably best to look for another ZF in the next contest :-(

Is it possible that you miscopied the callsign? I found these two spots on 
DX Summit:

21026.4         ZF2AH   sometimes zf2as         0024 01 Jul 1998
10110.3         ZF2AH   via W6VNR       0134 04 Jul 1998
Pretty close to July 5th (and ZF2AH was also active July 05, 1998 but no 
QSL spot was made).

Then there's also this, but it's from July 1999 not July 1998:
14235.3         ZF2AF   qsl nn6c                0332 22 Jul 1999
