[Dx-qsl] Info on 2E0SEA?

The proposed Sealand expedition, so far as I know, never took place.  Last I
heard about it was a posting on DX NEWS from KF2TI showing the (very
detailed!) operating schedule.  That was in November 2000.

The previous (only?) Sealand expedition in 1982 used the "S1" prefix, calls
were on the lines of "S1AD."  I believe the 2000/01 ops had planned on using
the "S1" prefix again -- since "1S" is associated with the Spratly's.  And
considering Sealand's allegations of sovereignty, I strongly doubt they
would use a UK call like 2E0SEA.

In any event, I think the "2E" prefixes are UK entry level tickets based in
England, so if nothing else, QSL via RSGB bureau.  WFWL!

You got it right. Must have been a pirate op. That op never happened
because they were threaatened with legal action for their illegal op.
