I will comment on them. If an amateur does not wish to exchange QSL cards, that is very much his own choice. He should though, be sure that his desire to NOT exchange cards, be very well published, and should so state during each and every QSO he makes. It has been said over and over that the final courtesy of a QSO is the exchange of QSL cards with those who wish them. If that is not acceptable to him, it is his duty to let others know. If he simply does not want cards via the buro, but will exchange direct, he again should let each correspondant know that during the QSO. I often have people simply say "QSL via direct" or the "new" thing of saying "QSL QRZ.COM", and take that to mean no buro cards. I will then ask them if the buro is ok as well, and often they say yes.
If they do not already know, they should soon reaslize that many ops are contacting them for a "new one", meaning they want a card from that country and from that operator. It is unethical to lead others into thinking they have a chance at a card, when they do not.
