Hi All

I am probably in the same boat as many of you are-No Ducie qsl card.

I thought I had promptly sent off my qsl cards and included 5$ as a
contribution. (I may be wrong-maybe I just had a Senior moment)

For the life of me I just don't know why one fellow Ve3HO Garth Hamilton
would take on the monster job of qsling as he had done, alone, some 25K q's
or probably more.
I checked his home page per his instructions for updates and in my opinion
there is little info there re progress. Kudos to him for the big effort!!

On August 2-3 the wwdxc convention hosted by the Willamette dx club in
Portland, Oregon will have a dxcc checker present. Since Ducie is my last
card for them all on SSB and mixed I sure don't want to send this card by
snail mail to Arrl since the P.O. or Arrl could easily lose it. I want to
hand carry it to the dxconvention in Portland. This may not come about.

As I recall most of the big dxpeditions I have worked in the past have a
local club or a team effort to promptly process qsl's.

I sent out about 10,000 qsl's for wb5lbj/du1 when the Phillipines was fairly
rare. My process then was First In-First Out (FIFO) and I didn't have a
single complaint.

Once Garth reads this missile (if he does) I probably will have to work Ducie
Island again-hi hi

Thanks for reading this, at least I feel a little better......
