Hi Folks:

I wish you could have heard KI4RU, Bob McCourt's voice, when I talked to
him on the phone today.  You have really made him feel special.

I had a lot of very positive response to the first posting on this
subject.  Now the purpose of this posting is just to bring you up to
date regarding some changes/additions to the web site.

Bob has received so many e-mails with good wishes and personal messages
that he cannot answer them all.  He would like to thank each and
everyone of you but that would keep him typing for a year, hi, hi.  To
help him convey his thanks to you, I have added another page to his web
site that lists the call signs of the hams and friends that have sent
him their best wishes.  If you would like to view the list, please go to

and click on the link at the bottom of the page.

If you have not yet sent Bob an e-mail and would like to, then please
feel free to do so at any time.  I know he would appreciate hearing from
you.  The call signs on the list (which will be forwarded to me by Bob),
will be updated about once per week.  I hope to see your call on it.

Unless circumstances warrant it, this will be the last posting on this
subject.  The thread is cut, but I want to thank all of you for allowing
me to do this and more importantly, for your effort and thoughtfulness
in making this undertaking so successful.  Just listening to Bob made me
realize how worth while it has been.

In particular, I want to thank Dave Haney, W3SJ, our reflector owner and
monitor for allowing me to put these postings on the reflector.  You
would have gone on the list automatically my friend, but I see you sent
Bob an e-mail several days ago.
