[Dx-qsl] DXCC certificates

i got the 5bdxcc back in1984, before the invention of computers it seems.  at 
the time i was only keeping track of mixed.  last year i decided to apply for 
phone and cw awards.  because they did not carry over my credits from the 
5bander when they computerized, i ended up submitting about 500 cards (and 
paying mucho for the extra over the allowed 110 yearly quota). got credit for 
335 on phone and 275 on cw in one fell swoop.  

this month i went thru my qsls to see how many band countries i have 
confirmed but not credited - over 500 and still counting.  

you'd think the league could credit us old ^&^%&^s that got the 5band before 
the computer days with 500 freebies, but that's life.  

good luck and most of all HAVE FUN.  when you feel the blood pressure rising 
during a pileup, hit the power switch, go hug the kids and wife, pet the dog 
(or pet the wife and hug the dog) and remember it's only a hobby.
