Subject: [Dx-qsl] Log-check!
Hello Steve!
I don't know how often the PW0T log is updated, it says ''online log''
but not sure if it is, no dates or times for last upload as I could see.
I had my three QSO's on 12, 15 and 17 meters in the log, but last
night, February 21 at 2315, take or leave a few minuts, my clock
is not connected to any radio time update station... I worked PW0T
on 3.5 MHz CW, and I'm sure that the QSO is in the log but probably
with wrong callsign! I heard him work a K2-station, maybe K2LS or
something, didn't write it down, found that stations frequency and
broke the US pile-up. He came back twice with SM5?, and the
second time confirmed but not with the correct callsign, was too
surprised to write it down but maybe ''SM5WQ?'' something, and
finished with TU. In my opinion the operator confused my callsigns
suffix with someone else who heard and called at the same time.
There were hundreds of stations at the same time calling once they=20
have heard him coming back to SM5?, noone seems to want a DX=20
to finish a QSO before starting calling these days, and sometimes
the expeditions want to make as many QSO's as possible and
than are too much in a hurry, I'm wanting OH2BH and N7NG back
out on rare spots again... However, this time it wasn't the operators
fault, he gave me TU and thought he had the call OK! Can you please
check for me, and if there is another SM5 around that time, must be,
I could do as Martti explained sometime, have that station confirm=20
that he was not on the air at that time. PW0T heard me and I heard
him, that's all that counts I think. ''I heard Heard and Heard heard=20
me'' - remember Hugh Cassidy?
Also checked the YA5T log and noticed that I'm not in there for
my 21 MHz PHONE QSO 2. December 2001 at 1148 UTC, it
was Peter, ON6TT, operating and he really had my call OK, so
maybe a writing error. This is not important as I have old QSO's
with YA back from around 1969 - 1973 when Swedish opertators
YA1AH, YA1OS and others were very active. I did work YA5T on
3.5 MHz CW last night also, and that's a ''good QSO'', was a new
one for me on 80.=20
So, finally, please when you have time check PW0T on 80 for me,
if OK I don't have to sit up all nights coming week, hi. There are
contests this weekend in Europe so no chance until Monday, the
3518 - 3522 KHz PW0T has been using is not that good, there
were complaints last night as he spread the pile-up between
3525 - 3535 KHz and that's the ''rag chew'' frequency here in
Europe, did create some carriers etc. on his TX-frequency, but
I suppose that PW0T is up there because of the TI9M beeing on
3503 KHz.
All the very best to you and yours and have a fine weekend,=20

DXCC HR MIxed, Phone and CW, all but P5 and Ducie,
however P5/4L4FN worked. 330 on 7 MHz, 327 on 28 MHz.
Now concentrating on 3.5 MHz CW, don't like the ''shout
and scream'' up around 3780 - 3800, hi. I work sometimes
the WARC-bands but I'm to old for 24 MHz, it will soon be
gone, and when back I will be too old, if I'm still alive that is!
