[Dx-qsl] Disappointed

I used to send out a lot of QSL's as post cards too. Then I started getting
reports that the cards were arriving damaged or not at all. Must be the
sorting machines can't handle them well. So for domestics, I put them in an
envelope, along with a SASE and that usually works. If it's a high QSL rate
location, I will usually toss in a buck. Shucking out quality QSL cards can
become very expensive, as stated by the operator from Montana. I usually send
two bucks if it's legal, or two IRC's to oversea's contacts. A lot of the
countries now have rates higher than a buck, and if not, they can get a cup
of coffee or throw it in the pot. I am guilty of not always putting USA on my
envelopes however, but so far have not had a problem because of that. The guy
on the other end has caught it and wrote it in, or it just comes O.K. CRS I
guess................Al/W8FAX
