From my aspect, as a Ham from Canada,  $2usd = $3.50
cdn.  Postage International is now $1.20 cdn. 
Therefore, the cost to me is about $5.00.  I view Ham
Radio as a hobby and not a money making venture.

I do believe that QSL managers are entitled to fair
compensation for their services but I look at $5.00 vs
$1.00.  This makes the DXCC more affordable for a
person on a fixed income.
