[Dx-qsl] computer clock

I seem to remember something like this related to a pretty old version of
Norton Antivirus. Assume you are running a fairly current version of
antivirus software? Something that is getting loaded automatically is
stealing clock cycles. Loaded any new/different software at about the same
time as the problem showed up?
