What Dave didn't mention is that unless you are a member of the DXLab
Reflector, you can not download from the aforementioned file area -- it's
restricted to DXLab group members only.
I get enough spam via Yahoo, I don't need to join another group and get a
fifth set of unwanted ads!
Incidently, as of a moment ago as I wrote this, QSL.NET appears to be back
up.

Pathfinder is behaving as it is because the www.qsl.net site is down.
When Pathfinder starts, it attempts to download a file from
www.qsl.net/pathfinder to determine whether new searches are available.
Pathfinder waits 60 seconds for the file to download, and then gives up, but
generates an overflow error in the process and presents you with a blank
screen. The program will actually work correctly from that point forward.
Last Thursday night, I created and posted a new version of Pathfinder --
4.1.8 -- that more gracefully recovers in this situation. It displays an
explanatory window while attempting to download the search update file --
which still takes 60 seconds -- but recovers gracefully when this operation
fails. Since www.qsl.net is down, this new version is only available in the
DXLab reflector's Files area -- http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dxlab/files/ .
If you use Pathfinder or any other DXLab application, you should consider
joining the DXLab reflector so you can keep abreast of issues like this one
and their resolution. Like everything else in DXLab, the reflector is free.

Is Pathfinder 4 down or is it my problem? Also can't bring up the web
site. Haven't been able to bring it up all day.
