       The D.A.R.C. Report of 13 April 1975 dealing with EME
       experiments from San Francisco reports a first EME QSO
       with Africa with ZE1DX.

       If you use Google, enter ZE1DX and click "translate this page"
       then look at San Francisco.

       So it may not have been a busted call.

       Sorry, no other info.
       You should have chased his card at the time!!!!
