Here are some additional notes.
C24 0.04 pF “gimmick” capacitor. Constructed from a 0.2-inch length of #24 tinned wire spaced 0.05-inch above the adjacent PC-board pad.

1/8 watt resistor leads are typically .02 inch, and usually tinned.
useful to guesstimate the .05 inch spacing ...

METAL TAB OF A TO220 PART AS IN 7805 7808, USED IN DSP-10
Some large wattage axial resistors, such as 2 watt and 5 watt have tinned leads that are .05 inch diameter. Also a 1N5406 diode I happen to have laying on the bench.
