I am using V 3.94 of UHFA, and it doesn't work for me either. Usually  
there is a display in the lower left, that says "panel" when the ALT Y is  
used, but nothing is displayed there, and nothing happens, and no error is  
displayed.

The entry in UHFA.CFG is under System Parameters, waterfall 1  or  
waterfall 0.

I tried this with a V 3.50 UHFA.EXE and it works there.
