Warning !!

Just been playing with the NT Dos Virtual Machine in WIN XP. Mostly it
works well. There is one strange symptom I encountered not having much to
do with the DSP-10, but worth noting.

If you have the serial cable plugged in while booting XP, and UHF3 is
running, the PNP tries to install the DSP-10 as a pointing device. (MOUSE
?).

This appears as the cursor going all over the opening screen and the mouse
function being very limited.

So, don't do it ! It did not appear to cause any harm.

If you play with this, be aware that the PNP BIOS wants to install
everything it sees. If the DSP10 is not connected, or is not powered,
while booting the OS, this is not an issue.

There may be some way to tell the BIOS to ignore the serial ports, but I
have not investigated this.
