Hi Courtney,
Everything seems fine with my DSP-10 now (and knock on wood here too)
and I'm in the process now of troubleshooting the old NTMS kit
transverter that is now at least 3rd hand. Fortunately the receive part
of the whole works performs nicely, just not getting any measurable
power out of the transverter at 1296 yet. I'm working on it stage by
stage this afternoon, so hope to be on the air on 1296 with 3 ft. dish
in rover configuration very soon. It also helps to have a real nice
beacon on that band, just installed, that's on a mountain top about 20
miles away. We'll be stirring up activity around this area of northern
Arkansas, southern Missouri, and hopefully beyond. (That beacon has
been heard in the Dallas area, probably over 400 mile path.)
I, too, have some of the W1GHZ simple and cheap kits and plan to use the
DSP-10 with them to at least get started on 902, 2304, 3456 bands too.
Thanks for the input,
73,
