On my todo's was using DOSBox under Linux with the DSP-10. I have used
DOSBox under Ubuntu Linux for other things, and it might work for the
DSP-10 in its present DOS form. At least under Linux, I think there is
a control on the amount of processor time is allowed for DOSBox. As I
remember this was an issue under XP, as CW (or any other timed
transmission) was sent with major time gaps while the PC was busy
playing Windows.
If it works under Ubuntu Linux, it should also do so with current
versions of Puppy. The latter would be good since, as Mike mentioned,
it could all go on a CD and require no disk formatting. It does not
even need to use the hard drive at all.
Has anybody played with this for the DSP-10?
Maybe when the rains start...
