Hi Luis,

Another idea.  Since it is the help screen that triggers the crash, it may 
have to do with memory allocation.  When the F1 help screen is invoked, it 
saves the waterfall to memory.  If there is not enough memory available to 
do this, it should produce an "E17 - No Mem" in the lower left corner.   If 
you see this at all, then it is most likely the problem.  The error control 
for this case is not tested, as I have enough memory.  Maybe someone else 
has experience with this?

The program has grown over the years, and this may show up with some 
version for you.

Getting more memory has to do with the DOS .SYS files and the possible TSR 
(Terminate and Stay Resident) programs.  I'm sure there are people that 
know a lot more about this than I do!  Maybe someone could respond?

Or maybe that is not the problem. Still thinking.
