[DSP-10] ver380

Hi,

I just made a new EPROM for the DSP with the more recent DSP code
All worked fine after scratching the head for some time
trying to remember the way for making the .hex file for the
EZ_kit EPROM ;-)

Quite entertaining considering the cold weather we are having ;-)


The idea was to upgrade both DSP and PC to version 3.8
All seems to work fine but ...

PC version 380 crashes a lot
something that I never had with the DSP10 before.

One systematic crash is when I press F1
but there are others.

many bad crashes, only hard reset/pc_boot cures :-(

This is with a DOS only PC, the same old P1
I'd used all the time w/ the DSP10.


With PC version 2.02 and DSP ver 2.0
all works fine.

With PC ver 3.8 and DSP ver 3.3 (or 3.2)
it is not stable at all...

Even with PC version 2.02 and DSP ver 3.3
works fine (not sure if all works but
there are no crashes)

Anybody has a clue of what might be wrong ?


I would like to try other versions to
see at what version it stopped to work well for me.
Is there a repository of old versions somewhere ?
