BTW, I researched the "brickette" when the module used in it was dropped
from production.  There is a FET module (Mitsubishi I think) that will work
and gives about 30 watts out.  The maker even had an "evaluation" design in
the app notes for the module that would work great.  I can dig through my
notes if you don't find a PC board and module.
