Can't Buy from Mouser
Flash has monitor program in it, you have to get from
http://www.kk7p.com/flashutil.html#REPLACE
At bottom of page

Get prewritten Flash, and fallow directions there to up load dsp-10 software
all over again. If monitor gets destroyed by wrong upload address, you have
to get another unless you have a flash writer built, or purchased.

Subject: [DSP-10] Upgrade Flash chip in the DSPx

After moving I now time to repair my DSP-10. At the same time I would
like to upgrade the flash chip in my DSPx.
My DSPx has the older Atmel 49BV512 Flash chip. I know that the larger
flash chip is the SST 39VF040. I was wondering if any one could
confirm that I have the correct part numbers. Is the correct part
number sst39vf040-45-4c-nh and RoHS part is sst39vf040-45-4c-nhe.
Mouser has both of the parts in stock.
   -Thank You
     Matthew, N9MTT
