Hi Courtney,

Read through the above, if there are more questions, I'll 
try to help.

An easy thing to try would be to find a birdie on 2 meters, 
find the audio freq, then set up the ALT-V box so you can 
peak its heading.

Noise is not very useful without a good noise source, like 
the sun or even a noise diode etc. Not sure what you have to 
play with. There are certainly plenty of weak signals to 
play with on 2 meters.
