Hi John,
I cant help with the box, but I wanted to say I have been where
you are (as regards to back problems) and offer my sympathies
and some advice. If you have to have surgery, choose a
neurosurgeon and not an orthopedic. In fact if you are not now
under the care of a neurologist, you should be. That extruded
disc is pressing against your spinal cord. Besides the nifty
pain, this can also cause unexpected, undesirable and very
embarrassing bodily functions to occur with little or no notice.
:(
Do not agree to a myelogram unless your doctor just absolutely
insists... there are not words to describe how much this
procedure hurts even through the two vials of morphine I was
given.
Hopefully it wont come to that and aggressive treatment and
therapy will get you going again. Like I said, I've been through
the whole thing, if you have any questions feel free to ask!
