Hi David,
For a hair raising blow-by-blow account of one person's construction
experience, check out my website:
http://home.earthlink.net/%7En5bf/dsp10ci.html and
http://home.earthlink.net/%7En5bf/dsp10.html
I have a second unit here but still plan to build it so I can work
satellite full duplex (and have a spare!).
The news at AMSAT this week is that they are getting in on a new,
open-source platform, the "HPSDR" (http://hpsdr.org/). I just
scanned over the presentation so don't know how closely this new
project relates to the DSP-10 community. I'm giving a paper at the
San Francisco AMSAT Symposium in October about this so maybe I'll
find out while I'm there.
With two requests for more kits here, maybe someone will come out of
the woodwork with a spare. Or maybe TAPR can be persuaded to kit up
a few dozen more. This is the future, after all!
good luck and 73, Courtney, n5bf/6
