I've have part of a front end that I started written in Java. I know
the basic concept works but I haven't had a chance to go throug and
figure out the guts of the serial protocol, particularly in terms of how
one changes frequency etc. It will switch modes fine, so I know the
communication works. If anyone wants to take up the project I can send
along the relavant class files. I really don't have time to work on it
right now.
