The symptom is not having CW sidetone, and no power in CW transmit.
This happens because the left and right DAC are used for different
jobs. Receive works fine, and is in both channels. Sidetone sounds
like a very high "squealing" pitch when transmitting in CW mode.
This can be checked by:
Connect speakers or headphones
Set sidetone level to 36 - 40, (SCROLL LOCK on, S or D)
Mode CW, ( ALT M )
"HOME" key, to toggle transmit
Right hand ALT key to key CW carrier.(there are 2 alt keys)
I do not know which file and which drawing belong together or how to
tell them apart. The fix is easy, once you recognize the problem.
I hope this is useful, rather than confusing.
This unit was built by K7NQ from the KDSP kit from TAPR and used the
software from the DSP-10 website.

The file from this ZIP is dated 3/14/04 9:47 AM 93227 bytes.
Wiring was confirmed as correct
It did not work until the DACL and DACR were swapped.
This displays ver 25

Some guess work suggests the UHF3.EXE file dated 5/27/03 12:13PM 92400
bytes might be the correct one to use. It is contained in the ZIP

Can anyone confirm this ? Does your DSPX display a version number on
the bottom line of the computer screen ?
