Hello All,

Version 3.50 of the UHFA.EXE DOS PC program is now available for download.
This replaces earlier versions and adds new capabilities including:

1-Extensive Memory capability. Stored as PC files, these allow changing
frequency, mode and almost any other operating parameter.
2-FM DTMF tones are available in transmit.
3-Tone bursts and CTCSS are available in FM.
4-Ending tone bursts are available in SSB.
5-Power-to-Tone conversion is available for peaking antennas on Sun or Moon
noise (or any other application).
6-The Power-to-Tone conversion has provision for operating from signals, also.
7-Help Screens now come from an ASCII file and can be easily customized.
8-The Audio Processor now has 1 Hz RIT and full mode capability.
9-All screen Saves are now in GIF format.

Known bugs have been fixed, and a number of minor additions have been made.
Detailed notes of the Version 3.50 changes are available.

The new UHFA requires version 2.C or higher of the DSP program UHF3.

The Web page http://www.proaxis.com/~boblark/dsp10.htm has a full set of
new files posted there.
Look under "Hardware, Software and Information,":
A-UHFA.EXE version 3.50 DOS program for the PC
B-UHF3.EXE version 3.0 DSP program for the EZ-Kit Lite
C-UHF3.HEX version 3.0 Hex for EPROM creation for the EZ-Kit Lite
D-UHF3x.EXE version 3.0 DSP program for the KK7P DSPx/KDSP1 boards
E-Source code for the C program UHFA
F-Source code for the DSP program UHF3
G-Detailed Notes to supplement the User's Manual for version 3.50

This has been tested extensively, and is ready to use. However, please
report any problems with the programs, or web site and I will fix things
up. I suggest studying the Detailed Notes first, to see how the new
capabilities work.

Thanks to the many helpful folks that have provided ideas, programs and
testing of this update. Many of these are listed in the ver350a.txt
detailed notes, and I hope I didn't miss any one!

Bob Larkin W7PUA
