Hello group.

Jimmy, K7NQ recently finished his DSP-10 and wants to let everyone know it
works fine barefoot at 20mW! He's been trying to submit the following to the
DSP-10 list and is having difficulty, so I volunteered to forward his message,
which follows:

Hi all,
Just a quick post to let you know we have our DSP-10 up and operational. Our
1st contacts were with Ernie W7LHL and Mike KD7TS using SSB and PUA-43 modes.
Our 1st DX QSO was with Bob W7PUA in CN84 to my grid, CN87. A distance of
191 miles. Bob and I were using bare DSP-10's, he 30 mW and myself, 21 mW.
The antenna used by Bob was 4 K1FO's, I am using 2 ea. cushcraft 18 el., 4.2
wavelength yagis @ 85'. My ERP was approx. 1 watt. We also worked Larry W7SZ
a distance of 100 miles with 21 mW. Larry's antenna was just 5 elements,
part of a broken 2 meter EME yagi. HI HI. Who needs big antenna's to make Pua-43
contacts!
I want to thank the whole gang in th Northwest for all there help, it's been
a rewarding and fun project. We are looking forward to doing more with the
DSP-10 in the near future.

There is more information about the contact, along with screen captures
