  Hi Chris,

First, I must mention that I did not build from a TAPR kit,
maybe someone can confirm the following.

There should be a total of 11* FT23-43 cores, two each are used on
cables connected to:

J1

J2

J3

J105

J106

One core is used to make the filter inductor L32

L32

330 µH; 52 turns #32 enameled wire on an Amidon F-23-43 toroid
core.

and an excerpt from the original construction notes:

L32 is wound with #32 wire and the core is about 1/4 inch in diameter.
In order that this core not behave as an antenna at 15 kHz it needs to
be small and the magnetic field needs to be concentrated in the core
(no air gaps.)This is achieved with this coil design, but it does take
a few minutes to wind. Try to keep the turns in line around the
toroid. But, don't worry if the turns sometimes overlap or get looped
under the prior turn. It will not affect the functionality.

* I might be wrong on the total quantity of FT23-43, but it is a least 11.

I hope this answers your question, have fun
