Hi Andy,

I have followed the same route as most others have, downloaded the file
using IE6 under Windows XP and ended up with a ZIP file. However, I have
also downloaded the latest version of Java from the web, renamed the Zip
file to a JAR and then double clicked on it, and hey presto, up comes your
lovely looking front panel. On the face of it, it looks like a very well
laid out setup, but as I have not quite finished getting my DSP-10 up and
running yet I can't really comment any further.

My machine runs XP with SP2 and all the patches imaginable!!!!! (And a host
of other stuff as well)

Some of you had trouble executing the java .jar file. I'll try not to
let this get into a MS rampage, but I find this rather unbelievable....

So I get a bunch of emails saying, "I downloaded your zip file, but I
don't see any jar". I didn't know what to make of this until Rick,
VE3CVG pointed this out.

The file I put on the website is called "dsp10controller.jar" NOT
"dsp10controller.zip". If you download it with IE however, it renames
the file with the .zip extension! There's no way around it as far as I
can tell.........
