Hi Jimmy and All,

Found what the Issue was
I needed an other ground on the DSPX board where the analog signals
are connected. That fixed the problem.

Time for more experiments
Played with R21 from the IF receive amp to see if I could optimize
dynamic range of the IF.
Looked like reducing the resistor reduced the sensitivity.
This was just done with on the air signals.
Will do some test later with the noise bridge.
I think Bob did ok with the 10K there.

I am quite happy with the good results .... so far.
Noticed that the TRX has some problems with power line noise.
But this is quite a common issue with DSP trx ... Hi

Would it be an idea just to slap in an analog noise blanker ??
Perhaps this has been discussed previously in this group. ?

Thanks
Ron VK6KDD
