[DSP-10] Diskless?

Frank:

Right now, the DSP-10 application needs to run under DOS. That is to say,
it cannot run under a "DOS BOX" from within windows. The serial port code
does not function (properly) once windows is loaded.

Serial port code under windows exists. The other issue has been getting the
graphics code for the non-windows world to work properly from a windowed
environment. I've been investigating this, and hope to have something to
show off for the DSP-10, in time (but nothing is ready at this point....)

I'm hoping to get my other projects buttoned up, so I can get to this
programming exercise.

If you can get a memory card to run with DOS-based drivers, then there
should be no reason why the DSP-10 cannot run. If it is only supported
under windows, then you're out of luck for now.

Hope this helps / 73,
	Roger

Subject: [DSP-10] Diskless?

Hello Group,
I love my DSP-10 but worry about the old Toshiba laptop's fragility in the
field.
Anyone know if the DSP-10 will run diskless? Like with a TAPR Compact Flash
card or similar device.
Thanks and 73,
Frank WB6CWN
