The chokes are not required. I need to update my website :-/

The very first DSPx modules sometimes had an oscillation in the 1.8V
regulator.  The filter cap was later changed to a very low ESR type that
cured the problem and eliminated the need for the chokes.

You can tell if your unit has the latest capacitor:  C3, the small tan cap
nearest the Flash IC socket, should be "475". If it is "106" then you need a
new cap. Let me know if yours is a "106" and I'll send you a cap.
