Thanks for sharing your thoughts to elucidate my understanding. I know
that the component tolerances of the capacitors give a clue how accurate
the designer expects the circuit to perform. I knew that the LPF circuit
with L32 was not critical.

Heck, it is fun to wind those toroids !
Even more fun if the equipment does not work after putting it together,
assuming that reasonable care is taken putting the parts in the right
place, taking time not rushing, doing a good solder job, checking for
solder shorts etc. I sure miss Heathkit !
I learn from doing and enjoy gaining knowledge troubleshooting when it is
necessary.
It was a great feeling to put the DSP-10 kit together and having it work.
A rite of passage ?
Just thought that it would be good to do some elmering and explain the
reason not to be too concerned about this coils winding to Matt, I find
that I always learn something new everyday.
